On this panel, you can configure the codec order used in the SDP message in a SIP INVITE request. You can select the codecs that will be moved to the beginning and to the bottom of the codec list and reorder them as you need.

To use the codec order defined within this service policy, make sure the Enforce codec order option is enabled for the:

  • routing plan (open Routing plan > Codec policy > Enforce codec order); or

  • VoIP from vendor connection (open Connection > Service configuration > Routing filters > Enforce codec order).

To see the default codec order list, click Set default order. The full codec list will be displayed in the Bottom codec list column. You can reorder these codecs, move codecs to the Top codec list column, or remove them from the list.
